If this occurs with me, I would refresh all drivers and verify I didn’t overlook a motherboard install. Then adjust BIOS to default or update it together, or both. Also ensure Windows is up to date. You might want to check the Event Viewer for any issues. Alternatively, consider disconnecting some USB peripherals.

Just a few critical errors each time it happens. Everything up to date, I assumed the BIOS might be the issue but it hasn't fixed it. Unfortunately, the problem keeps going.
You already eliminated bios and drivers. Just to confirm, were the RAM specifications set to default? Also verify that overclocking and underclocking are turned off on both the GPU and CPU. As noted earlier, we’re excluding hardware faults. This might point to several factors: power supply problems—many users report this error due to insufficient PSU capacity or a defective unit. Check your PSU’s specifications; it’s possible that a sudden spike in power demand could overload it and cause shutdown. Hardware instability is another possibility, such as an unstable CPU, GPU, or RAM. The pattern you described—normal boot, crash on first start, then stable after restart—suggests the issue may relate to RAM configuration or timing settings. Overheating could also be a factor, especially if components like the GPU or RAM are running too hot. OS-related issues might arise if the PC was recently restarted or if settings were altered. Peripheral interference is another angle: removing USB devices during wake-up or boot may help isolate the problem. Without hands-on testing, it seems a faulty PSU or problematic RAM setting is likely.
I recall something that led to problems. Make sure all install apps on your PC are up to date. Look for any Patriot Viper M2 SSD RGB software and remove it if found. Also, check the SSD and RGB drivers for components you don’t own and delete them. Some programs are installed with them, especially the Patriot Viper RGB app, which often causes issues and crashes. It’s a possibility, but worth trying.
Hey, same issue again. New build AM5 platform. Ryzen 9 9900X, X870E, TeamGroup T-Create 16 GB DDR5 6000 module x2 (CL30). The system runs okay except when waking up from sleep mode—every time it boots into Windows 11, the screen goes black and restarts in about 10 to 15 seconds. After restarting, everything works again. No driver conflicts or missing drivers detected. PSU is fine, it’s a quiet unit. I’ve used my old AM4 5900X with this setup for over two years without problems. I also have another memory kit from a different brand (CL36), which is lower than the TeamGroup CL30. After swapping to that one, the problem disappeared. From what I see, it’s probably a compatibility issue with the CL30 memory. Should I give up on the TeamGroup CL30 this time? I really like the brand and used it well before now.
It's good to know others share the same problem. Checking the manufacturer's website for compatibility info could help.
