For both activated and non-activated versions, the suggested personalization adjustments immediately following a new installation are worth noting. The process varies: for activated users, tweaks are available right away, while non-activated users can still personalize until Windows updates disable it. Certain adjustments, like changing wallpapers, become usable sooner after disabling personalization, but other modifications may require waiting before an update. These differences depend on individual preferences, and everyone may find different tweaks useful before the next install.

Turn off drive indexing for platforms with multiple physical drives. Disable Disk Defragmentation. Move all User folders to the secondary drive.

Yes, some of these suggestions are classified as customization and are restricted for un-activated installations.

Will you activate this install once it's ready, using a proper license?

This one, probably, but I've got a lot of old computers set up in my garage for LAN parties or small group in-person gaming. These are some useful tricks to have in my toolkit.
