I'm using Windows 10 on mostly outdated hardware, with the latest SSD as the boot drive since June 2020. According to CDInfo, the SSD reports 79% health, 20 TBW, 22800 hrs and no reallocated sectors. I’m switching to a new Ryzen system and have backed up everything. Recently (~2 weeks?), I’ve noticed a pop-up during boot asking me to enable Windows Backup and save files to OneDrive. However, I can’t log in to my imgur account to upload the screenshot because the block is intermittent, affecting me across the country (India). Is this warning linked to a recent Windows update or is it due to Windows sensing an upcoming disk failure?

As suggested, it's merely advertisements. You can disregard them and save to any location, including Google drive.
