I received the new CPU, the 5600X, and it's performing well. The temperatures weren't as high with the H100i v2, so I upgraded to the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240 and maintained similar temps. Warzone at 80°C. After two weeks, I'm at 65°C with some lower frequencies now. My clock is at 4400-(4650 normal) compared to 4650 before. Is this damage? PBO disabled. Previously it was stable at 80°C and 4650 MHz, but today it dropped to 4200 and fluctuated between 4649 and that.

The processor isn't handling the heat well despite the cooling setup. Verify the pump operates at full capacity and ensure fans increase properly when under load. I haven’t received a Zen 3 chip yet, but it should support up to 4600 unless the board interferes with timing or voltage settings. Possibly adjust BIOS settings—enable only XMP—and inspect case airflow. For better performance, aim for lower idle temps during light tasks like gaming. If idle temperatures are high, examine the mounting and reapply thermal paste.
