Freezing screen ?
Hello everyone, here I am once more seeking assistance.
š
I recently switched my main monitor to a Samsung G5 27-inch curved, and the LG Ultragear 27-inch is set up as a second display.
My issue is that while playing MMORPG games like Lineage 2 and other titles, pressing ALT f4 causes the second game to freeze for about two minutes. Iām trying to understand why this happens.
I also have a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU and an RTX 2060 GPU.
I believe this configuration should support two 27-inch monitors smoothly.
Before that, I used an Acer 27-inch curved monitor with 165Hz. I donāt recall any freezing problems there.
Also I'm using a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU and an RTX 2060 GPU.
I believe this configuration should support two 27-inch monitors without any problems.
When sharing a troubleshooting thread, it's standard to provide full system details. Please list the specifications as follows:
CPU: CPU cooler: Motherboard: RAM: SSD/HDD: GPU: PSU: Chassis: OS: Monitor:

CPU cooler is Mastercooler, just a standard model with two fans. Coolermaster offers several options, are you interested in the Hyper 212 Turbo model? Mastercooler claims around 550w. You referred to Coolermaster, but your query mentions a 550W unit. Weād need more detailsāspecifically the model year and makeāto proceed. If unsure, removing the side panels from your case could help; you can check the stickers on your PSU or share photos for identification. I have instructions on how to upload images to our site in my profile.
BIOS hasnāt been updated in about two years, so weāll need to confirm the BIOS version youāre using.
Nvidia drivers are kept up to date with the latest app version.
Avoid vague phrases like ālatestā or āup to dateā; provide the exact version number instead.
I'm sorry for the delayed reply. To verify all PSU details you requested, I need to disconnect the whole PC and remove the screwsāit would be quite difficult, but if it helps me resolve your issue, I'll try.
Regarding the graphics card driver, its version is 580.97.
The BIOS seems a bit unusual, so I'll note them all down.

Check if the link you shared matches the one you have. Using an incorrect BIOS version for the wrong board could cause the motherboard to fail.
I'm sorry, I made a mistake with the motherboard. It's not 550B but an Asus TUF gaming B450 gaming plus II. Thankfully, I didn't update anything before checking the information again.
I updated the chipset to the latest driver for the correct motherboard, but I couldn't find any help on the BIOS. I found the right update, but when I tried to read the file it froze and didn't do anything for a whileāI even had a heart attackābut the computer kept running.
Come and fix your details. I'm putting a hold on suggestions until you verify your specs.
