In the past few months I've noticed issues in games that previously ran well (especially Hunt Showdown and Age of Empires Defiant Edition). I'm still maintaining 50-60 FPS at high graphics settings. In Hunt Showdown the game freezes briefly before restarting in about 5-10 seconds. With Age of Empires I encounter a non-responsive window, sometimes it crashes completely. A strange occurrence is that after a crash, the popup doesn't close and instead stays stuck, making it hard to end the task via Task Manager. It usually works with other programs like Chrome, but I need to log out to resolve the problem.

Specs:
- 2x 8Gb 2400MHz DDR4 RAM
- 16GB 2666MHz 1GHz DDR4 RAM
- Intel i7-1060 3Gb CPU
- Gigabyte motherboard (I'm trying to find the model)
- 2x 1TB HDD
- 250GB SSD with Windows installed

I built this PC a few years ago and upgraded it with additional RAM, a new processor, and an SSD. I have Windows on my SSD but Steam and most games are on my HDDs.

There has been a slight decrease in performance when opening programs lately.
