Freezing in Ai tweaker

Attempting to optimize my FX-8350 via AI tweaker causes the PC to freeze, leaving only a reboot option. I've adjusted settings and updated the BIOS, but performance remains unchanged.

I got it. I used it years ago and mixed it up with both. This looks like a BIOS bug Asus might be working on to fix. The only way to overclock is through AI Suite II at the moment.

Does it stop freezing once the settings are changed in Ai Tweaker, or does it freeze immediately when the software is launched?

Consider removing Ai Tweaker and verifying that all drivers are current. After that, install the newest version of Ai Tweaker to retry. Usually, I also advise boosting the BIOS settings rather than adjusting software in Windows for optimal performance and compatibility.

From the BIOS, in basic mode, select "optimal" instead of "normal". This resolved the issue for me.
