When attempting to install Ubuntu through the GRUB menu, the process halts abruptly and displays a black screen. This issue may occur due to several factors such as corrupted installation files, incompatible hardware, or problems with the bootloader configuration.

Hello! Ubuntu isn't the sole operating system available. You might want to recreate the installation media—perhaps a faulty USB or ISO. Consider trying another distribution. Install Mint and check if it loads through the Grub menu or Windows Installer. See if your PC is overclocked; revert to default settings if needed. Ensure XMP, DOCP, or Expo are disabled in BIOS if they're enabled.

Several factors could be involved, with the most frequent being an incorrect installation medium or absent/game-incompatible GPU drivers. The latter tends to occur more often with older or newer GPUs.

Check driver compatibility and update them. Ensure your system meets the minimum requirements, reinstall the GPU drivers, or contact the manufacturer for support.

I experimented with various operating systems including Linux Mint, Batocera, and two Ubuntu versions. I used Etcher and Rufus for installation. I tested different USB ports and another USB flash drive, but all installations failed to complete. Only Kali Linux worked properly on Windows 11 beta.

The system starts with a black display or a frozen kernel? Pressing Ctrl+Alt+F3 usually results in a black screen. A terminal window typically appears afterward.

After checking my initial message, I noticed I missed the details. I thought I had posted my specifications on the Tom hardware forum, but I should have included them.
