Hey everyone! Your husband's PC seems to be struggling with performance issues. It's not multitasking well despite checking Task Manager and scanning for malware. Could you share more details about the symptoms or any recent changes?

Refers to the computer stopping entirely and not responding. The mouse may continue moving. Check GPU, CPU, and RAM usage during this time. You can view these stats in Task Manager by pressing Windows + R, typing task manager, or using Ctrl + Shift + Esc.

Have you verified the CPU temperatures? Are you employing the provided cooler or did your partner opt for another? Did you confirm the CPU's operating frequency and voltage? Which motherboard powers the system?

In my view, the issue seems linked to corrupted files and possible thermal throttling. The severity might depend on the CPU temperature during freezing, making it easier to back up and reinstall Windows from the beginning.
