Hello, I’m facing an issue with Windows 10. It sounds like the system behaves as if a USB was disconnected or unplugged, then it freezes for a few seconds. Before you suggest removing all USB devices, just note that this is just one of the strange noises it makes. Now the main concern is the display or graphics card. When this “sound” appears in the display settings, another monitor seems to be connected. It’s labeled as “Non pnp display” with no properties like refresh rate or resolution—clearly something is amiss, but it doesn’t actually exist. Could this be a monitor problem? I’m not sure, but it happens on my other PCs and works on mine too. I also experienced driver issues with AMD before, which might be the cause. It’s possible a recent Windows update disrupted everything. But you could say it’s possibly related to your PC or components. Although Windows has always caused problems for me, I’m currently stuck playing Rocket League on Linux. If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix these issues, feel free to share.

Hello blu3d0g Here are a few suggestions to consider. You might try reinstalling your graphics drivers. Another option is using a USB stick and installing an older version of Windows. Could you tell me how old your graphics card is? Has it been this way since you installed it, or did an update happen? You could also reach out to AMD to see if there are known issues with your specific graphics card model and the current Windows version. I don’t know the exact experience with AMD GeForce, but for NVIDIA it’s similar.

Sorry, I haven’t replied yet—I’ve been a bit occupied lately. If you’d like, I suggest performing a fresh installation of Windows if possible. Also, look into the Event Viewer to check for any errors that occurred.
