The FreeSync feature with Nvidia cards has certain restrictions. Only GeForce 10 and 20 series graphics cards are compatible with Nvidia FreeSync. Connect the GPU solely via the display port, avoiding HDMI or DVI connections. You must install the 417.71 driver version or newer. FreeSync functions not just with Nvidia GPUs but also with AMD graphics cards.
