While playing older titles, the performance often suffers from noticeable stuttering. Even when using borderless fullscreen and capped FPS, issues persist. Examples include the original surgeon simulator, portal 1, and similar games. Stuttering ceases when I disable freesync on my monitor or adjust settings in AMD. Assistance would be valuable. Note: Certain games become unstable without borderless fullscreen, such as CS:GO. This was observed on the date of editing, September 7, 2020.

After playing those old games, switch it off. The dark mode option is available for most active users.
