I've been using Fraps for a while now and wanted to know what others use to view FPS in games. Also, I'd like to see additional stats such as temperature. Thanks for any tips!

MSI afterburner displays temperatures and load data. FPS overlay would be a standard feature in most current games.

Absolutely, as @yannickverc mentioned, MSI Afterburner is user-friendly. You can overclock, record, and track your system both in-game and via the graph. It's significantly better than anything I've tried before.

Just began trying Star Craft II and didn’t notice it in the settings—I might have missed it. Double-checking, but I thought I had Afterburner installed and didn’t realize there was an overlay option.

I usually rely on fraps, though I was told otherwise by MSI for a while. Now that I have a second monitor, I just keep the afterburner window open.

I use fraps too, maybe try MSI instead. You both have the same name but different spellings.

You're currently using Shadowplay, which performs exceptionally well without impacting performance during recording.

I was just checking my FPS and temperatures while playing... no problem, FPS by itself is okay. Having a second screen sounds really appealing. Plus, I have an old IBM machine at my desk...
