It's typical to find "anti-bending" CPU frames for Intel's 12th generation CPUs on sites like Amazon and eBay. I see why they're useful for that particular socket, but I'm curious about potential advantages of using a comparable item on an older 9th generation socket. I searched eBay and Amazon but didn't find any suitable products for testing or experimentation. Anyone know if such items exist or where they might be sold?
It wasn't necessary before, aside from possibly resisting the original Scythe Fuma's powerful mounting pressure.

It's actually just a trick, since even if it were possible to twist... how would you tell which cooler is which and which aren't? You can't just guess they all bend. Each cooler has a unique mounting with different pressure levels. For older connectors, it would be pointless to bother.
