Frames Drop Significantly After 5 Minutes Of Play TIme Then Go Back Up
Here’s a rewritten version of the text:
“I’m experiencing a frustrating issue with my gaming PC – frame drops that make games unplayable. After approximately 5 minutes of gameplay in any title, regardless of its specifications, my FPS consistently drops to around 10 or less for 5-10 seconds. This renders most games unplayable and is incredibly inconvenient.
I’ve checked basic troubleshooting steps but haven't found a solution. My system specs are: AMD FX 6300 processor, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050ti with an MSI graphics card, 16GB of Crucial DDR3 RAM. I suspect the problem isn't hardware-related (like a previous processor issue), as it’s consistently happening across different games.
Could you advise me on what might be causing this persistent frame drop? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.”
This text discusses monitoring computer performance, specifically focusing on GPU usage and temperature. It provides guidance on setting up an On-Screen Display (OSD) using tools like MSI Afterburner to visualize real-time metrics such as FPS (frames per second), GPU load, and importantly, the GPU's temperature. The goal is to understand how these factors interact during demanding tasks like gaming, allowing users to identify potential bottlenecks and optimize their system for better performance while preventing overheating. It also suggests troubleshooting steps if temperatures rise unexpectedly.

Did you make sure GPU is not overheating?
Follow the guide and see what happens when FPS drops: temp rises? GPU load drops? etc
