I own an Asus gaming laptop. My system details are:

CPU: i7 7700
GPU: GTX 1050
RAM: 8GB

Over the last three weeks, I’ve experienced frequent frame rate dips or stutters while playing Fortnite and Counter-Strike. In Counter-Strike, I typically maintain a steady 120+ frames per second on maximum settings. However, during loading screens, my FPS decreases to approximately 30 for about 5 seconds before returning to over 120. This issue also occurs in Fortnite, though the frame rate drops to around 50. Despite updating all drivers and Windows, and confirming no overheating, running on low graphics settings hasn’t resolved this problem. I've reinstalled both games, but I need assistance troubleshooting this.

Notably, another game, Garry's Mod, does not exhibit this behavior.

An issue could exist with your processor; possibly one of the processing units has ceased to function.
