I play Rust frequently and experienced stutters due to CPU thermal throttling. I purchased a Hyper 212, which resolved the thermal issue, but my frame rate now sits at 40-57fps despite adjusting settings. Both my CPU and GPU operate around 40-50% utilization, while RAM uses 11GB. My previous setup with the same components (excluding the SSD and CPU – upgraded since then) achieved approximately 70 fps with thermal throttling stutters. I have updated drivers, deleted the configuration file, restarted my PC, modified the NVIDIA control panel, and used GeForce Experience.

CPU - FX 8350
GPU - GTX 1050
RAM - 16gb Corsair Vengeance DDR3
SSD - Kingston M.2 120gb (game installation)

Recent software changes, such as a Windows update or NVIDIA Control Panel settings, may be responsible for the reduced frame rates.

Click the green human to proceed – UserBenchmark
Link the results at this location.
Specify power supply manufacturer and model, e.g., Corsair RM650X.

The Corsair CS650M repeatedly displayed "incomplete" errors and failed to function properly.

Did it provide an explanation for the crashes, or did it merely close without further details?

The test indicated significant background activity. Were any downloads occurring concurrently?

I had several Chrome tabs open, which I closed. The only processes running were Steam and Discord, with no downloads or video playback in Discord. I then attempted to remove my two RAM sticks that differed from the other two; the system ran identically. I did not specify a reason for the incomplete state, so I simply redownloaded and retested it.

Run a virus scan to be sure. Try this one: https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/adwcleaner

CPU usage differs from GPU and RAM usage; it can reach maximum levels without reaching 100% utilization. One or two primary threads at or around 100% indicates a CPU limitation. Check the usage for each core in the game.

Scanning is now complete, but like all games, it runs fine; I don't know. And how would I check each core during gameplay? Just use Afterburner and select them.

I executed the process and rebooted, yet it did not report any items being detected.
