Frame rate is low, I’m unsure how to proceed.
On December 16th, I noticed a significant decrease in my frame rate—approximately 50%—after checking using an FPS monitor. This issue seems to stem from updating my GeForce driver, and I’ve attempted to resolve it by reverting back to the second most recent driver, but the problem remains. My CPU temperatures are consistent at around 88 degrees Celsius, and my GPU temperature is approximately 75 degrees Celsius. Previously, I was using a driver that was the third most current, and I plan to investigate whether an older version will resolve this. I am experiencing a 50% drop in FPS within both CS:GO and PUBG. My system specifications are as follows: Acer Predator 15, i7-6700HQ processor at 2.8GHz, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 with 8GB of VRAM, a 512GB solid-state drive, and a 1TB hard disk drive.
