Hi everyone, I'm just getting started in the community!
Recently, I've observed frequent frame rate drops in several games—essentially complete freezes lasting only a split second. There seems to be no clear explanation for this issue, even though some of these games are high-end titles and others are not particularly demanding on my system. Games where I've seen this problem include RDR2, Rocket League, Lego Star Wars, and Horizon Zero Dawn.
I've updated my BIOS, installed the newest drivers, reinstalled them, and performed system checks on both my memory and hard drives.
It's really frustrating. Below are a couple of screenshots from the task manager, focusing on GPU and CPU during these brief freezes.
My system specifications are:
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (8GB dedicated memory)
AMD Ryzen 7 5700G
TUF Gaming B550-PLUS Motherboard
24GB RAM, DDR4, 3000mhz (two 8GB and two 4GB modules)

I say it's okay since many GPUs face lag or frame rate drops. This can occur occasionally. If you're pushing your GPU to overclock, such spikes are typical and manageable.

I mean, it's not great xD It's really bothersome. The worst you'd want from a gaming machine is smooth gameplay, particularly for games that aren't too tough.

Hi,
I was wondering if you've come across any solution for this problem. My PC has almost identical specs and I face the same issue when playing low-maintenance games like League of Legends. The game drops from 120 fps to 18, causing it to freeze and then return to normal abruptly (this happens repeatedly during a session). If you know of a fix, it would really help me out. Thanks!
