I recently assembled a fresh gaming computer, encountering a similar problem to my previous setup.

Previous PC:
Intel Core i5 3570k running at 4.3 GHz
512GB SSD
16 GB DDR3 RAM clocked at 1600 MHz

New System:
AMD Ryzen 5 3600K
1 TB NVMe drive
16 GB DDR4 RAM with a speed of 3600 MHz and CAS latency of C14
Both systems utilize an RX Fury graphics card. While the game initially performs well, it progressively slows down over extended play sessions; after approximately one hour, I must reboot the computer to restore normal operation. Simply exiting and relaunching the game does not resolve the issue.

Additional registration can be completed at this link to report
that I’ve experienced similar erratic frame rate dips in real life for approximately ten days.

The strangest aspect of this is that it only occurs during ranked play!!!!!!!
Regardless of the cause,
it appears to be a database-related issue,
as our computers and connections are performing adequately.
Specifically, one game in standard mode yields 60fps plus a consistent ping, while the next ranked match results in 17-20 fps and a sudden increase to 100 ping. Something highly unusual is happening since EPIC acquired Psyonix

Hello everyone,

I experienced a similar problem as well, and it began approximately four months ago for me. Prior to that, Rocket League operated without problems aside from occasional unstable server connections.

Last night, I identified the root cause of my difficulties, and I feel foolish for not attempting this earlier – it was my antivirus software.

I utilize Malwarebytes, and I needed to deactivate all real-time protection before launching Rocket League. Specifically, I turned off Web Protection, Exploit Protection, Malware Protection, and Ransomware Protection. Consequently, all the frame rate dips I had been encountering have now disappeared.

Let’s hope this assists another person!

Hello,

I wasn’t sure if this would be useful, but I experienced the identical issue, and after switching my input buffer from the older format to CSTS, the stuttering disappeared completely. It seems CSTS alters the bandwidth between you and the server dynamically throughout the game – that's what the official post indicates:

Hopefully, this was helpful.

My team needs to attempt using DirectX 9 for that. To accomplish this, you must: navigate to the game’s properties, adjust launch options, type "-dx9" within the field, which worked for me and my friend, but be aware of this; you cannot utilize Bakkesmod with DirectX 9!
