Recently, I began experiencing significant frame rate dips while playing Rocket League, although other games run smoothly. I typically limit my FPS to 144 in RL, yet the stuttering consistently reduces it to approximately 27 FPS, resulting in a half-second pause that severely impacts gameplay and prevents me from competing effectively. This issue predominantly occurs during online matches; I don’t encounter similar stutters in solo training or private games. However, as soon as I add another player to a private match, the stuttering begins. I've attempted numerous troubleshooting steps without success.

A video demonstrating the in-game performance data is available at: https://streamable.com/omn6v

System Specifications: GeForce 1070 Ti, Ryzen 5 2600x, 16GB DDR4 RAM

Do you have a wired connection using an Ethernet cable? If yes, please visit your motherboard's manufacturer’s site to obtain and install the most recent Local Area Network (LAN) driver. For wireless connections, download the newest Wi-Fi driver.

Is your 2600X system running at an increased clock speed?
What is the memory’s operating speed?

With the newest software update installed, my central processing unit is not manually boosted, however AMD’s Turbo Boost feature remains active. System memory operates at a rate of 2933 MHz.

Completely reinstall the game, and attempt to connect via Ethernet cable. If you experiment with various solutions, you’ll likely discover the cause. A fresh Windows installation may resolve the issue, though I recognize this could be an unnecessary step.

Is the game installed through Steam? If so, please check its properties and verify the file integrity. A few missing files might impact how it runs.

Despite attempting a fresh installation on both my hard disk drive and solid-state drive, and having previously reinstalled Windows, the issue persists without any resolution.

There’s nothing further to consider beyond equipment and wireless problems.

Employ AMD Ryzen Master to monitor fluctuations in performance alongside temperature and CPU clock rate measurements.
