Hello everyone,
I recently installed my high-end system about three months ago and have been experiencing gameplay problems that shouldn’t occur. After several conversations with NVIDIA support and even having my PC tested under Microcenter’s supervision, the problem remains unresolved. It appears I’m facing frequent massive frame drops and performance dumps while playing games. During gameplay, my system runs smoothly, delivering excellent performance—except every few minutes it slows down significantly, causing me to lose control of inputs. This behavior only occurs during actual gameplay, not in benchmarks or stress tests, and all Microcenter tests proceeded without issues. It seems the issue is specific to gameplay sessions at home. I’ve used GPU-Z and the control panel to track performance in real time, and it consistently shows a sharp drop in metrics every 5 minutes for about 5-10 seconds before recovering. I’ve tried everything possible with NVIDIA and Microcenter, but nothing seems to fix it. Could it be related to my home electricity network or power consumption? I don’t have a way to test that, but it’s the only theory I can consider. Please help me out.
