It seems many skilled players enjoy action-packed titles such as first-person shooters like Cod, CS:GO, and similar games. Third-person shooters are also popular, though titles like GTA V aren't included yet.

It really matters for me. I prefer both fairly, but it varies by game. Driving-heavy titles work well with controllers, while FPS games suit others.

I prefer not to play shooters... I enjoy driving around freely and doing off-roading in GTA.

I favor FPS in multiplayer titles, especially competitive ones, and I enjoy third-person perspectives in adventure-style games, particularly open-world experiences.

FPS available only when the field of view can reach 100+ and supports self-awareness. I appreciate the M&B titles, but I prefer third-person view since the FOV feels too limited. D:

It sounds like you're talking about different gaming styles—some feel like a military-themed simulation, others resemble an arcade shooter. If it's TPS, it's a bit of a shame, but if it leans more into FPS action, that's totally fine. Goddamn Spec Ops: The Line was really solid.

I play on PC. What I meant was that I can't operate without a controller, making aiming and other actions simpler in third-person games. For first-person games with minimal driving, I rely on KB+M.
