I’ve noticed frequent stutters in Fortnite where my FPS plummets from 240 to about 80 for short bursts, roughly every 10 to 20 minutes. I’m using a 1920x1080 setup with low settings except render distance set to far. Performance mode is active, and the frame rate is capped at 240Hz/240fps. My specs include an i7-9700k, RTX 3070, G.Skill ripjaws 16GB, Corsair RM850x, Noctua nh-u12s, fractal design meshify-c case, ASUS Prime Z390-A.

For 1080p performance, the RTX3070 isn't being overworked much. Try boosting the resolution and details in the game to see if it improves. Uninstalling your GPU drivers using DDU and reinstalling with the newest version via an elevated command—like right-clicking the installer and selecting Run as Administrator—can also help.
