I've seen that most games I play are limited to 60fps, so I searched online and tried various fixes like disabling V-Sync, turning off game DVR, uninstalling the Xbox app, etc., but they still stay capped at 60fps. Recently I checked a recording from my old tablet (file: 20171221_154145.mp4) and noticed something unusual.

Consider adjusting a few power settings just to see what works best!

The screen isn't able to exceed 60hz. Some titles limit your frame rate to match your monitor's capabilities.

The display runs at a specific refresh rate. The graphics card used is [insert model]. It activates only when you interact with the touchscreen.

Power settings are available on the performance display. Refresh rate stands at 60Hz, GPU runs GTX 860M. The FPS counter increases when I touch the screen but stays fixed at 60 when not in contact. I also adjusted the global settings—VSYNC turned off—in the Nvidia control panel.

It seems like you're suggesting that unless you're particularly concerned about the figures, the added frames per second won't make a noticeable difference because your screen can only reach 60Hz.
