my friends aren't very familiar with technology and asked me to assist. when they play games, most prefer minecraft, but any game works fine as long as the frame rate stays steady at 50-60 fps initially, then drops to 3-4 and recovers. it's a laptop with an i5 processor and uhd graphics. listen, those specs might seem insufficient, but they should handle minecraft and the display shows it runs smoothly. the cpu and gpu aren't overworked enough to cause the drop. when using low frame rate mode, both stay around 75% usage—possibly due to thermal issues, which i'll check later. i'll leave a note here (thermal readings are okay). please let me know if you need help optimizing it further because it might be a problem. the game is on the lowest settings, and i’ll guide them through tweaks for better performance. sorry for the unclear writing.
