Fps issue in Battlefield 4
Fps issue in Battlefield 4
Hello, I'm dealing with a problem that began after the newest Windows Insider release for Battlefield 4. The game is running at 60fps despite all settings being unchanged and my GPU drivers being up to date. It seems like this might be related to Windows 10 build 19002. Could you help me figure out a solution or confirm if it's specific to that version?
My system specs are: I5 4670k, GTX 980, 16gb ram.
It seems the issue isn't in the game settings, and restarting the game and PC didn't resolve it.
It seems micro$ft might have added a FPS limiter in this version, which could be causing issues or being enabled by default. That’s why insider builds aren’t advised.
Windows 10 has many problems, so I favor Windows Server 2019 with the desktop environment or even Windows 7 over Windows 10.
Server 2019 lacks bloatware and unnecessary features—no ads, no "one cloud" nonsense. It runs smoother, avoids ads, and is more reliable because it’s aimed at enterprise use.
It also supports DXR, DX12, and offers better stability due to its target market.
I reinstalled the graphics drivers and turned off V-Sync in the Nvidia control panel, yet the game remains stuck at 60 frames per second.
I revisited the earlier Windows Insider version 18999, my FPS returned to normal and I posted a feedback report on Microsoft with ID 19002 about the performance issues.
