Hello! Based on your specs—Intel i5-4200u, 4GB DDR3 RAM, and a 2GB Radeon R7 mobile GPU—your laptop should be able to run The Forest smoothly. You’ll likely see playable frame rates, especially if you’re using lighter settings.

The game runs smoothly on my AMD A8 5600k with internal graphics and 16 GB of slower DDR3 RAM. I still question how much memory you're using.

Your memory speed should be around 1600MHz. I don’t know the exact amount needed. The lowest specs require 4GB, but actual needs can vary.

The game has also shifted a lot because of updates. That means the minimum requirements are pretty unclear. Still, I’d definitely give it a shot. It’s a solid experience. Making things, taking on canibals, and trying to survive... (I didn’t care much about the storyline)
