i experience fps drops while trying to play gta 5 on a sli single 1080p display. after a fresh install of the updated driver, reduced settings, and boosting cpu speed, the issue persists. lowering the settings occasionally improves performance but stutters remain bothersome. no clear fix has been found. your system specs are: i5-3570k, overclocked 4.1gHz, 8gb ram, asus direct cu ii 770, 2x 750w, 80+ gold. hope someone can assist.

Check GTA5.exe in Task Manager at "High" and GTAVLauncher.exe at "Low". If you're using an SSD, it may affect performance, though results vary. @ zizi05105

I don't believe my SSD has sufficient space for the game. I'll check the priority settings. TQ ^^

yeahh, the priority settings dosent work... single gpu with single monitor is fine, sli with surround is fine, but sli with single display stutters. is this a driver problem? as you can see on the attached picture, in the red box, many downward spikes on both gpu usages. Driver? perhaps? using 352.86 curently

I suspect it's related to RAM. GTA V tends to consume a lot of it. The key factor here would be view distance/LOD options and/or character/AI proximity, especially since it's an open-world title. If the draw distance slider isn't available, you might need to optimize further. Alternatively, consider running the game alone without any background processes or browser interference.
