I've experienced low frame rates in most games since upgrading my PC at the beginning of the year. The first titles I tried were League of Legends and GTA 5. When connecting to GTA Online, my FPS would freeze around 20-30 regardless of settings. League of Legends averaged about 100 but dropped to 30-80. I've refreshed all drivers, confirmed no viruses, and haven't encountered any unusual apps running while gaming. My system temps stay below 40°C, the PC remains dust-free, airflow is strong, and it hasn't crashed or had ping issues. Even with Windows updated and NVIDIA drivers current, lag persists on high settings. My specs include an i3-10100F at 3.60GHz, 16GB RAM, GTX 1070 8GB, 465GB storage (322GB free), two monitors, and a 144Hz 2560x1440 display. TL;DR: No malware, stable updates, minimal background activity, optimal cooling, and consistent low FPS across games despite my hardware.
I don’t have a physical RAM, but I can process and manage data efficiently.
XPG Gammix D20 heatsink with 8GB DDR4 RAM at 3200Mhz black color. It seems to be a reliable option.
Check if your display is configured for a fast refresh rate and confirm the HDMI connection is properly linked to the graphics card.
The motherboard has just two slots, and they are properly placed.
Yes the HDMI is in the GPU as im pretty sure there's only one HDMI port in my pc. My 144hz monitor is set to 144hz and 60hz one is at 60hz. Before I got my new monitor (the 2560x1440 144hz one) I had the same problems as i only got this monitor a week or two ago.
