Someone could assist you. You've experienced frequent FPS drops in every game you play (mainly Fortnite) every 1 or 2 minutes.
I searched for similar issues but found nothing.
Your setup includes:
- Ryzen 7 3700X
- Zotac 2060
- MSI x470 gaming pro
- Corsair 3200 MHz 2x8 (16 slots)
- EVGA 650W power supply (bronze rating)
- Cooler Master liquid cooler
You've tried updating BIOS, setting RAM to XMP, updated drivers, uninstalled drivers with DDU, and adjusted Nvidia control panel and GeForce Experience settings.

Stuttering is often related to cpu speed problems.
I don’t give much weight to the userbenchmark app, but it suggests a cpu performance issue.
Is there something happening every half minute?
Run HWmonitor.
It will log the current, minimum, and maximum temperatures.
When the cpu senses a high temperature, it will reduce speed to prevent damage.
I’m not sure what that threshold is for the Ryzen 3700x.
Liquid coolers may lose effectiveness over time.
The pump might slow down or stop, and air bubbles or leaks can occur in the coolant.
A high idle temperature could be a sign of this problem.
I used the stock CPU cooler that came with the Ryzen 7 3700X, but performance dropped. They suggested switching to a liquid cooler since the stock one isn’t as effective. I usually reach around 80fps or 50fps when there are many players or textures loading. My CPU stays at 4.1hz, so I don’t think it drops in performance. Since Fortnite is heavily CPU-dependent, my CPU runs at full capacity while the GPU is only about 28-32% at its highest.
I downloaded specific apps to manage CPU speed (like Park Control, etc).
Are you able to use Discord VC because I’ve been struggling with this issue for a long time?

My CPU has 16 threads, which is why I’m experiencing FPS drops. I’ve checked other users’ problems and tried them on my machine but had no success.
