Hey, I saw my FPS drop significantly in Battlefield 1 today. Usually I get 140-200fps on full settings, but it was only 60-70. I checked all my games and benchmarks—everything looked normal except for BF1 and Farcry5. My results with Heaven, Cinebench, COD MW and Unreal Tournament were okay. FC5 went from over 100 to 70-80 fps. I updated my Nvidia driver last night and tried it again, but it didn’t help. My PC was new a few days ago and hasn’t had any problems before. Just these two games are acting up now. Anyone have a clue?

Consider a complete system reset and a fresh driver install. It might also help to update your CPU chipset drivers for best performance. If problems persist, check your power supply unit for stability while the CPU and GPU work at full capacity.

You've confirmed consistent performance issues with BF1 and FC5 compared to other games, even before updating the Nvidia driver. It seems the problem might be related to the game files themselves or an older version of the software. Consider verifying the installation process and checking for any known bugs in those titles.

What you're explaining isn't feasible, so I can't confirm.

He mentioned that BF1 began acting weird on his gaming machine too, which suggests the issue might be related to the game itself.
