I also notice no genuine live updates on my second screen during those games. That happens when I run Rainbow Six or Overwatch, but with the others, tools like NZXT's CAM or Hardware Monitor fail to refresh in real time. Even Task Manager doesn't work.

Check the AMD Radeon app or game settings for the configuration options. This problem affects only source engine titles.

This might seem silly, but have you applied any BIOS updates to your motherboard? Or are your clock speeds remaining low during the games?
