FPS declines and game stutters reported in Warzone Season 5!
Hey, I'm seeking some advice after struggling to fine-tune my PC. Before the Season 5 patch, I consistently achieved smooth 140 FPS in Verdansk/Rebirth (possibly higher on Resurge), but now I'm only managing around 120 with solid performance. My frame is showing signs of trouble and I've shared my build details. It seems upgrading is necessary. Any suggestions or adjustments that could help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Load Hwinfo64 and start the game briefly—it displays all the details, performance stats, frame rates, utilization rates, temperature, etc. It explains why your FPS might be what it is, such as RAM or VRAM constraints, GPU requirements, or post-S5 update issues. The specs are generally good, but you're unsure how the current cod handles things now.
Sure thing! Let me know if you need help understanding how to use the software.
Access the device, verify sensor readings for current, average, min, and max columns. Proceed to launch the game and save the output. Capture all sensor screenshots and submit them here.
You're asking about alternative connections and system requirements.
Regarding the cable, you should check if your monitor supports DP instead of HDMI.
For BIOS/Windows settings, look for any specific configurations needed to enable the correct display output.
Only when HDMI doesn’t meet the monitors’ maximum resolution, refresh rate, and bit depth requirements. This varies by specific monitor. If it’s compatible, switching to DP won’t help. For new users, usually XMP or EXPO is sufficient.
DP tends to perform better than HDMI on displays but the difference is usually minor. Main settings won’t drastically alter performance; you can turn on rebar in the BIOS if it’s not already enabled. A potential concern is both RAM availability and its speed—seems like it’s utilizing nearly all available RAM, while your RAM might be running very slowly or just sluggish. You’ll likely need to enable XMP in BIOS, which shows a 2133CL15 frequency with a 2T command rate. Regarding RAM slots, they’re positioned as follows: slot 1 is the leftmost closest to the CPU, and slot 4 is the rightmost farthest from it.
It seems XMP is turned off. I remember this before because of the problem, and I looked it up briefly. It looks like enabling it could harm the system. I avoided it out of caution. I've attached a photo of my RAM in the PC, though I think the 2nd and 4th slots are affected.
