He’s trying to connect four sticks to his TUF Gaming B550M-PLUS (WI-FI) board but isn’t sure why it fails. He’s using Gigabyte Aorus 4x8 3200 RAM modules. Someone might be able to clarify the issue. Updated Dec 21, 2022 by ItsYourAverageJoe

Each stick functions independently. Placing the two existing sticks into the remaining two slots would rearrange their positions but not affect their individual capabilities.

We are checking each stick individually. However, with four sticks it doesn’t respond. Then he receives the DRAM Light.

Are the four sticks from the same set or different batches? If multiple, you can't be sure they're identical. They might come from various production cycles and sometimes parts change between batches. Components like DRAM chips and capacitors can vary. This risk can cause compatibility problems or stability issues. Gigabyte isn’t particularly recognized for consistent quality or reliability that supports profit margins. Also, their RAM isn’t confirmed to work with that motherboard—though it hasn’t been definitively ruled out. ...or it might have been tested and failed. We don’t have a clear answer. They should list the faulty ones after testing.

He has a Ryzen 2000 processor. It performed poorly with four sticks.

It was already discussed, but I'm not entirely sure you picked up on it: the test should check not just each stick but also every slot individually.
