Four-pin connector for eight-pin interface.
Four-pin connector for eight-pin interface.
You can use the 4-pin connector on your ASRock X570 Pro 4 with a Ryzen 7 5700G. The PSU only has a 4-pin CPU connector, but it will still work as long as you connect the correct pins. Make sure you match the pinouts carefully and check that the power switch is engaged before turning it on. If the red light appears, ensure the PSU is properly seated and not overloaded.
Yea replace the psu Theres plenty of cheap used units even below 50$ used rm850x/equivalent so theres no reason not to replace it Guidelines wise avoid shitty multirail psus, only one 12v rail, said 12v rail should not exceed 100w below psu advertised rating (ex 30a 12v for 360w on a 450w is acceptable albiet on the low end), branding doesnt matter here as youll mainly be relying on that 12v rail to judge for quality, also make sure to check on the internet for any customer reports reviews etc. just to make sure there are no known issues Send any deals you find here and ill evaluate them for quality
