Hello, I’m facing some problems with my new PC I built. It’s been running for only a couple of months now. I have three monitors and the specs are an i9 13900k, Nvidia 4070 Founders card, and a Rog Strix Z790 gaming Wi-Fi motherboard. After trying to delete and reinstall my Nvidia drivers to switch them to a different NVMe drive, the issue started. Now when it boots, only one monitor is detected, and I have to manually turn off each display before turning it back on. Sometimes all monitors flash on startup. This problem began right after the driver changes. It might be due to corrupted drivers or my BIOS automatically switching to integrated graphics. I’ve been troubleshooting for about three weeks.

It generally identifies all my screens once I power them off and then manually switch the second one on. After logging into Windows, everything looks normal on the displays.

This thread seems to be about installing drivers properly. The best method is using DDU instead of deleting the folder. Also, GPU drivers need to stay on your main OS drive—don’t just copy them elsewhere, as that hasn’t worked for anyone I know.

I'm sorry, I didn't understand what you meant. It seems like you're asking for help with a technical issue related to downloading and installing drivers, possibly on a new NVMe drive. Could you clarify the problem you're facing?

Remove all installed drivers using the Display Driver Uninstaller. Clear every downloaded installer and any related files or folders on all storage devices. Expect reduced resolution when booting in safe mode without drivers. Retrieve the newest Nvidia drivers, apply them, and verify they’re current. Keep them in their default location. Try running games to ensure everything functions properly; if issues arise, notify us with the changes made.

Avoid making changes without understanding them... Let the software set up drivers correctly. Refrain from randomly removing files without reason... Everything should function smoothly.

Is this website secure for downloading? Should I remove it using this app and then reinstall?

A new clean could definitely make a difference. Re-wiping your PC and downloading again might resolve the problem. After wiping, Windows will typically be removed, so you’d need to reinstall it unless you used a clean installation method.

Sure, DDU will handle everything. Just make sure to verify if there are any remaining files on the second drive, since drivers won't install on non-OS drives. No. Clearing all data from your PC means losing everything, including the operating system. You'll need to reinstall everything, even Windows.
