CDPR confirmed the title is a GTX 780 (Titan). See how the visuals differ from earlier trailers or builds. That's quite surprising. The discussion thread on CDProjektRed has some frustrated members. The original announcement was for Nvidia Games Works, so I stopped my CE Edition. I might still purchase it if it turns out to be a strong title—similar to Witcher 2. However, I’ll likely disable tessellation in AMD Catalyst, lower the resolution to 3k, and stick to 30 FPS using RadeonPro. Running at 60 FPS isn’t feasible, so downscaling seems necessary. They’re not offering my CE Edition with those high-resolution textures, though. Graphics aren't everything, but it’s disappointing when performance doesn’t match expectations. It's easy to upgrade hardware and still run the game smoothly. Our graphics card now holds 4 GB of VRAM. Shadows of Mordor featured massive 6 GB textures for those with capable systems. Who knows what improvements are coming? Maybe they’ll release a downloadable pack if the community pushes for it. Overall, it’s still going to be an excellent game, but this lack of parity and exclusive features feels frustrating compared to higher resolutions.

You thought the visuals would be impressive while playing? That might have been a bit too optimistic.

Back in 2015, my Mass Effect game had limited graphics because of texture packs. I thought more detailed textures would be available on PC, but the developers stuck to lower resolutions—around 2-2.5 gigabytes max. It feels like they were trying to save resources, especially since consoles and Xbox games didn’t handle heavy textures well. The PC version should have better quality, but it’s disappointing seeing such a big difference.

It would be unfair to allocate 4GB; 3.5GB would attract a larger audience.

I didn’t express satisfaction with the current graphics handling; instead, it’s important to manage expectations.

I didn’t plan to play Witcher 3, but seeing its style might lead to disappointment. I had nothing to expect, yet I ended up feeling let down.

This outcome seems quite let down, but I believe in the company and hope things turn out okay. YouTube compression can affect quality, so it's hard to predict. Also, it wasn't clear where you heard that version was mentioned, and I doubt a single 780 would push performance to its limit.

I anticipate a firm that markets itself as PC-first to actually deliver better textures for computers. As I mentioned, this isn’t difficult. Developers have often managed that. This title appears noticeably lower in quality than Witcher 2’s ubersampling does. The gameplay is decent, but honestly… I really wish they offered an optional downloadable texture pack or something similar, since some of these images look quite poor. Feedback in other titles has led to those packs being available, so yes, it seems reasonable people should have a say. It’s absurd that we often need to voice complaints just to obtain what should already be available. But it looks like that’s the current situation. You’re going to have to be persistent and complain to get anything now.

After the game concludes and reviewers examine it, focus on your findings. Avoid pre-ordering, no matter the organization's branding.

Consoles remain unchallenged in their claims, but many are ignoring the reality. Everyone should avoid making any commitments.
