I'm thinking about purchasing this PSU but it doesn't have a fan control remote. Would the absence of the remote affect anything? My current system runs between 350 and 600W, and I tend to use more storage and peripherals, though that might be straining it. Upgrading later could be an option. Should I consider another PSU instead?
I wouldn't invest in used PSUs, is that the model you're thinking of?

If yes, then it was likely made around 2012 or earlier—over 14 years ago. It’s safer to opt for a well-built PSU.
Or should I consider another option?
Please share your build details: CPU, cooler, motherboard, RAM, SSD/HDD, GPU.

The remote stopped working, so I just connected the power supply's fan connector. After swapping the motherboard and resealing the power supply (a step I take when reusing a power supply on a new board), I installed a standard 4-pin PWM fan and ran the wire to the board. I also removed one of the fan controller connectors to allow the PWM fan cable to pass through.

i checked several sites because the prices vary.
by the way i ordered the psu and received a different one that was dusry, it had a title of the one i received and the box of +300 of the same, and ahd a differnt PSU on the image. so i lost about $10 and my time to return it. maybe should have kept and resold it with accurate information but idk what was the best decision.
