I need to consider whether the RAM and motherboard are still suitable for my current setup. It would be a good idea to check if upgrading them would cause too much disruption. I'm hoping the rest of the components, like the PSU, are still in good condition and won't need replacement. I'm seeking recommendations specifically from NL shops for a motherboard and RAM. Thanks!

Check the current DDR5 costs and let me know your thoughts on upgrading. Make sure you've saved at least $150 on the CPU.

The top choice for DDR5 is purchasing used units.

I really hope this helps ease the pressure on PC upgrades or selling systems. I think Lisa and Jensen should reach out and bring some order to the situation.

Despite this, the only ones affected are the stores. Memory, CPU and GPU makers are too focused on AI data centers to even notice or worry.

The increase in value comes from constructing data centers (or securing promises of them) that utilize powerful GPU technology. These facilities generate significantly higher profits than typical consumer products. Given how limited the foresight of today’s leaders often is, I’m confident Lisa and Jensen wouldn’t be concerned about gamers purchasing less hardware.

It shows up because the 9800X3D is a high-performance GPU, and DDR4 is a common memory type used with it.

Choose the X870e Tomahawk for all your motherboard requirements. I opted for the premium carbon Wi-Fi just to get extra USB ports. RAM size is flexible—32GB should suffice for gaming, so I went with that. Prices are good right now, and you can upgrade later if needed. I stick with Kingston since there’s no better choice; you don’t need to overspend.
