Hi, I tried to play the Soldier of Fortune 2 Multiplayer demo but it won’t run on my HP Probook 430. It crashes right when I start. I attempted compatibility mode and ran it as an administrator without success. My system is an i3 4005U with integrated graphics, 4 GB RAM, and Windows 8.1. Let me know if you need help further.

SOF 2 was launched over a decade ago, so the specifications should still be reliable. The tutorial link offers guidance on playing the game on Windows 7 with a 64-bit version. Crashing issues are frequently reported with Windows 7 and similar operating systems.

It seems to function properly. But since it's from 2002, it's built for an older version of Windows. Have you tested it on a previous system like Windows XP, 2000, ME, 95 or 98?

I've tested it on two systems—one with Vista and another with 7. I'm considering the demo version since it features just one map, and I might try the full release instead.
