My game frequently experiences loading problems, particularly with texture loading. I often begin a game without seeing my character’s skin, harvesting tools, or buildings appearing.
I use a laptop that I consider to be above average, and I believed this issue was resolved when I purchased a new one, as my previous laptop (with integrated graphics) exhibited the same problem.

I have attempted numerous solutions found online, with some providing temporary relief lasting only a day before the issue returned.
Normally, I achieve 70-120 frames per second, but now my frame rate rarely exceeds 60 fps, and freezes occur for 3-7 seconds. When capping my FPS at 60, the game loads approximately 10-20 seconds after landing, substantially hindering gameplay. Previously, with a cap of 120 fps, everything loaded before landing, and I maintained frame rates between 70-120. Currently, the game is causing significant stress and frustration, diminishing my desire to play.
I am uncertain whether Fortnite itself or my hard drive is the root cause of this issue, as my friend with a PC possessing lower specifications experiences better performance.
My in-game settings are:
3D resolution: 1080p
Everything set to low or disabled except view distance.
View distance: Far
Multithread rendering: On
Vsync and motionblur: Off
