Hello there. I’m curious about the high ping you’re experiencing—60 to 70 when using the Middle East Server on your PC. They mentioned it would be based in Bahrain, but since you’re about 30 minutes away from Dammam, I expected much lower latency. Can someone help explain why this is happening and how to resolve it?

There is a delay between your PC and the Internet, then between the Internet and Epics internet, and finally between Epics internet and the servers. Something seems to be slowing everything down. Are you connected via Wi-Fi or a wired connection? How quickly is your internet performing? Which mobile device are you using, and does it match your internet speed?

My connection is strong, around 45 Mbps each second. I'm on Zain's service.

Yeah, it's not Ethernet. I have an Ethernet cable and a port under my desk, but it still doesn't connect.

It's not in Bahrain, it's in Mumbai, India, unfortunately. I understand you're happy about Indian players getting good ping, but the announcement turned out to be different, so sorry for the disappointment.

Ah fuck them! Now I know why there is no difference between EU and middle East.

Internet speed isn't really relevant when it comes to ping. It has more to do with how far away the server is.
Based on their decisions so far (and especially this season), I'd say that this is a pretty accurate statement.
