I tested Fortnite in the lobby and noticed my GPU and fans were performing well initially. When I enabled Vsync, I achieved around 60-65 FPS but had to manage the temperature. My GPU remained cool enough, so I considered creating a cooling curve to prevent fans from reaching high speeds like 2200-2500 RPM. There might be alternative methods to optimize this further.

I don't have access to that information. Please check your system logs or monitoring tools for the GPU temperature.

Dust causes throttling; when was your last time you maintained your fans? Look for dust—use a can of air or an air compressor, spraying all fans until they appear clean.

Update your preferences, Fortnite struggles a lot with setting optimization. Disable shadows (it’s pointless to have them on) and adjust all settings to medium or tweak your frequency. Adjusting your frequency actually made a difference.

Still not quite there but it did assist a bit. Could FreeSync improve this?

I’m not sure about the benefits; it could add extra load on your GPU and CPU slightly.
