Hi, I enjoy playing Fortnite and, up until recently, I haven’t experienced any issues. However, lately my game has been consistently freezing, and I have no options to resolve it except for an emergency shutdown. When this occurs, all I see is the timestamp of the freeze, and I only hear my teammates' voices through chat – there’s no in-game audio. I’ve attempted troubleshooting by removing and reinstalling Fortnite, but the problem persists. I’m concerned because it appears to be occurring more often, and I haven’t installed any new content or run other programs simultaneously. My computer shouldn’t be experiencing issues, as it smoothly handles Fortnite, averaging 120 fps with peaks up to 190 when stationary.

Does anyone have any insights into this situation?

I play at a stretched resolution (1440 x 1080) and utilize Nvidia settings adjustments along with windowed fullscreen mode. If anyone can offer assistance, please leave a comment.

Hey, did you resolve the issue? I’m experiencing the exact same problem on a laptop with an i5-8250u processor, 8GB of RAM at 2400MHz speed, and an UHD 620 graphics card. It was functioning correctly previously, but it began occurring after season eight, and I'm unsure how to proceed. If anyone has a solution, please contact me on my Discord: Elias#6216
