Fortnite is causing my PC to change random colors.
This APU hasn’t been around long enough for rollback drivers to work since its launch. What’s the best approach now? I’m on an insider preview of Windows 10, but this became noticeable after overclocking and a possible update. My BIOS reset didn’t help. Should I try uninstalling Ryzen Master next?
It seems you’ve already cleaned up the drivers and tried a newer version, but Fortnite still works. If this isn’t solving the issue, remove the Radeon software from the control panel and use AMD’s cleanup tool (search online) to reinstall an older driver that previously supported Fortnite.
I began using Fortnite last week and encountered the same problem on my Ryzen 5 2400G. The issue extends to the main desktop display. When I minimize the game, adjust the monitor resolution, and then revert back, it resolves the problem. If it doesn't affect the desktop, restarting the game also works fine. I think the fault lies with the game itself rather than the driver. I'm counting on a fix in the next updates.
I'm experiencing the same issue with my Ryzen 5 2400G. A quick workaround is to load the game, adjust the settings to switch the screen from "windowed full screen" to "window," and then apply it. After that, revert back to "windowed full screen" and save changes. Once you close or minimize the window, the screen will display this discolored effect until you power off and turn it back on.
Visit the settings of the malfunctioning app, navigate to compatibility options. Locate full-screen optimization settings and disable them. Proceed to apply changes and confirm by clicking OK. Repeat this process for each broken application you wish to fix.
