My friend is facing some FPS drops in Fortnite lately. His performance dropped from about 100 to around 10 FPS. He uses an Intel Xeon with a 1050 Ti processor and had no issues before he overclocked the CPU. After changing settings, the issue persists. We're looking for solutions and any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I would use DDU to remove the driver and begin anew. Also remove the OC software you were using to make sure it isn’t loading a preset each time the computer starts. To verify the card’s health, open the Bios and confirm it displays the correct GPU. After reinstalling the driver, check if GPU-z is detected properly. Those would be the initial steps I’d take.
