I just found this video that caught my attention. While it doesn't focus on SC specifically, it's a really helpful guide on flying as a wingman. As we progress to larger groups, organizing becomes essential when competing against seasoned players. These creators have many great flight sim tutorials—super informative and fun to watch. Check them out:

Those with genuine flying skills and ample time in DCS or Arma will easily lead Star Citizen. Luckily I handle all three aspects.

I previously practiced formation flying in FSX multiplayer, though it was with single prop Cessnas and Tiger Moths. No experience with jet fighters, but it was still valuable training.

I would like a spot to hone my skills, as formation flying in Arma 2/3 feels nearly impractical, the game makes it hard to fly safely together. The chance of losing sync with teammates is too great. There are very few servers available for DCS, and AI might panic when you attempt it. Those tutorial videos are actually quite entertaining.

It's tough to find solid sim communities to connect with when you're new. I've been having trouble with DCS for a while now, and multiplayer feels really confusing.

It seems we're dealing with a server labeled as having no weapons or a MiG-29 pilot who's stealthier than the SR-71 and even more deadly than cyanide. I promise I'll try to keep this message focused.

We discussed bringing it up about flying in DCS to set the right mindset, but no one would listen.

I sent it soaring through the air... sure, I can have it brought back to the hangar for a clean finish...

I think I grasped some of the words between most of the others I didn't, haha. Just focus on what you want next—what's the main point? And don’t forget to check out DCS though; it seems pretty interesting.

Attempting to operate the P51-D, managed to initiate movement but likely encountered an issue with the right wheel brake while navigating in circles.
