Previous discussions suggest adjusting settings to avoid a choppy experience. For your current build—Ryzen 5 3600, 3200MHz RAM, updated BIOS supporting 4133MHz—consider boosting the graphics card to a higher model like AORUS ELITE or Tomahawk MAX. This will help maintain smoother performance.

It seems the optimal frequency is around 3600MHz for Ryzen Gen 3, but I don’t know the price difference.

Have you already verified there’s no software issue such as reinstalling Windows, attempting to run games on Linux, updating drivers, etc.? If it’s a software problem, hardware changes won’t resolve it. Your configuration should be free of the problems you’re experiencing, even if the 2600 isn’t performing as well as newer CPUs. Try actively participating in troubleshooting since you’re the only one with access to your system. Use Afterburner to benchmark games, capturing low performance metrics, and record videos documenting the issues. High clock speeds like 3600Mhz with excellent timings aren’t necessary; 3000Mhz or 3200Mhz with solid timings offer better value for money.

It's a solid positive, though worth considering. The extra cost comes with a noticeable improvement, but it's not a huge jump. At 3200mhz it strikes a good balance, while 3600 keeps the price advantage.

Already freshly installed. Windows won’t work properly and needs to be reinstalled.

This IPC isn't up to the task. Many games have inconsistent frame rates, so it's still usable but not ideal for competitive play.

CL18@3600mhz is quite affordable. Choosing CL16@3600mhz comes with a higher cost. Still, CL18 offers better value.

It seems the game might be optimized for CPU rather than GPU, which could cause instability. Confirm if you're right.
