I used Win7 own image backup, Macrium Reflect, and Clonezilla. All three worked smoothly for me. Right now I prefer Clonezilla since I’m mostly on Linux, though it can be tricky at first. After getting the hang of it, it’s a solid backup solution—no problems with restoring images. I also tried Windows Image Backup, but it felt less reliable.
